Watching 20 Years Later...

...man this holds up poorly. The nostalgia is fun. The movie is just straight cheese. The things you don’t notice til your older. Most of the high schoolers in this looked late 20s. The hottest girl in the school would totally stop her life for some dude she never even noticed because he wrote her a letter. Lmao. Seth Green’s character really drove a lot of the comedy until he got normalized in the bathroom. At that point you were just kinda waiting for the ending - which was obviously some of the most nonsensical crap ever. The 90s really stopped at nothing with the cheesy stuff. This really gave Armageddon a run for its money there. By the way, JLH...still hot.

I don't know how I missed this one, but I've never even heard of it till now. I'll put it on my watchlist.

The movie lacks a lot of funny parts and the humour is basic, but it was nice to see so many recognisable actors.

What stands out to me is the incredible cast. This film is a who's who of young talent of the day.

I agree its a tough watch unless you didn´t grow up in the 90´s. Only thing I disagree with is the age of the cast. Most of the cast was age appropriate. The leads were all 19/20 except Seth Green and Peter Facinelli. The supporting cast were probably a bit too old to play high school kids but that happens in just about every "teen movie". One actor that stands out is Breckin Meyer, he seemed to show up in a bunch of teen movies at the time, being an actor in his mid 20s but he always looked mid 30s.
