I think Andy faked his death and moved to a commune or something. Or maybe he became a monk.
shareI think it's almost impossible to fake your death in the modern United States. I have family who pulled an elaborate scheme to fake death but got busted a few weeks later and were sentenced to jail for fraud. This was back in like 1991. Kaufman might have more money to get away with it successfully but I think he would've eventually been discovered by the IRS.
Bob Zmurda said that Kaufman DID fake his death but actually died for real in 1997 of AIDS.
