I love almost every scene with Troy, he's hilarious. My favorite is probably when Eve is upset after they go to the club and Troy says she loves him and she keeps making point after point of "I don't fall in love with people that do this and that.." and Troy just keeps saying in a funny, dead pan way, "Yes you do."

Hey Dave Foley was great, very funny, sarcastic as hell and I loved his character of Troy. All of the actor were great with the exception of Silverstone. I still don't think she can act but she was half way deceit in this film, probably because of the talent of the other actors. (She was only really good in Clueless but was horrible in Beauty Shop that really bad southern accent sucked, just horrible. I would never hire her, she would have to take acting classes with someone deceit).
^Alica was a smart pick in both terms of popularity and looks. She had a fanbase back then (although he prime passed 2 years earlier,) and she was always one of the more sexier actresses of that decade. They needed a babe for that role and she fit the role.
The part I think is the best is the montage of the scenes over the years showing Adam growing up and the malase of the family. That was always the strong point of the movie for me, it shows the changing of culture but the forced staying of the 60's period and how it drains on Spacek. Adam knows no better but Calvin is a nut.
But when it comes down to it Calvin and his wife did great with Adam and raised him right and he was the person he was thanks to them.
mine is when they were driving past the adult bookstore in slow motion and out of nowhere she sees adam walking on the sidewalk, gets out and runs into his arms. kinda cheesy i know but still a great scene.
