Just watched the new Severin blu-ray of this. Can't say I loved the movie. But more than an hour into it when Laura Gemser decided to earn her keep by stripping off to go skinny dipping, I finally perked up. Then she starts acting like she's being attacked in the water and she's dead. But you don't see what happened to her or what killed her.

shareIt's a definite B-movie. I wouldn't say its great. It's competently put together. I was hoping for more sleaze/eye candy myself. You see some topless dancers at a club once, and then Laura Gemser goes skinny dipping (as all good women on a jungle trek should! LOL!), but that's it. No sex scenes. Would have liked Maria and the blonde to get it on, if they could have contrived that.
