I thought this was one of the most tense films I've ever seen, can anyone suggest others like this and is it worth me watching the other two films?

Andrei Tarkovsky's ''Stalker.'' It's similar, but at the same time, completely different. Watch the whole thing, then you will understand. It was actually cited as one of the influences somewhere, and I may have to agree.

It's not a great movie but might be worth a watch if you like this kind of thing, similar to Cube but more of a slasher, obviously with a paranormal theme.
Jacob's Ladder (1990)
This is probably my favorite film. It is not a group of people stuck in a survival situation trying to figure out specific puzzles or anything, but it does share the unexplained situation / "Why am I here?" theme with Cube, and takes the psychological-thriller theme to a whole other level.

I would suggest The Quiet Earth (1985). Not about being trapped in a maze suffering claustrophobia, but it has three complete strangers all alone trying to figure out what the F is going on and why they are the only people walking around. The solitude atmosphere is great.
