Goosebumps anyone?

Everytime I watch this movie I always always get goosebumps. Even after seeing this film a million and one times it never fails. I am just curious to know if anyone else feels the same way?

reply

For sure, extremely touching. I thought it was very well done.

Bob's sobbing on the floor after Elizabeth dies wrecks me every time.

I've never seen any film come SO close to getting it painfully right.

Seen it for the first time last night, but I think it was about 40 minutes in? I caught the part where he first meets Minnie Driver at the restaurant. Very nice movie. I wanted my wife to watch it with me but she was being a bitch at the time, so forget her.

Every person that served can be called a veteran, but not every veteran can be called a Marine.

I like the cut of your jib.

But what is it with Marines and chick flicks? Another badass Marine I know worships Diane Lane and thinks Under the Tuscan Sun is great.

Love this movie. My spouse and I watch it time and again. The characters are wonderful and you want to know them. The restaurant is so charming, I wish I could go there. And I love the music used in this film. It's a shame Bonnie Hunt didn't write/direct any other romantic comedies.

I'm with you! I also loved this film. It had a fabulous cast and all of them were wonderful

I love Return to Me. I have seen it many, many times. When Bob is crying on the floor I cry right along with him, but the line that kills me is when he says to Mel the dog, "She's not coming home."

reply

Yes, that part got to me too.
