it could work. roger would be 70 and riggs would be close to middle 50s. close to the actors real ages, it would seem realistic.

i think he was early 30s in lw 1 and this would be 20 years later

Not likely, the shit on their fanbase when they came out being anti-gun back when Lethal Weapon 4 came out. I remember seeing them yapping about thinking gun control was a good thing and think what complete idiots they are for saying that. Would make as much sense a someone with a bakery talking about how bad carbs are for people... Doesn't matter what you personally think you don't go saying that kind of shit when it is going to alienate a large chunk of your audience.
