Did you see it when it came out in theaters in 1999?

Yes and No. I was on leave in Honolulu from the military in the summer of 1999. I was all excited to see TPM, I was even reliving my great experience in 1980 when I saw Empire Strikes Back at the best movie theater(Midland)in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
Welp, what happened was this movie was so god awful and boring I left after about 30 minutes, when the queen was giving some awful boring speech or something.
I swear to god, a few days later I bought another ticket and tried this movie again..only to leave at the exact same spot I had left a few days before. I've never seen this movie in it's entirety.

3 times. Other than Jar Jar, I liked it.

Yes I saw it 3 times! I even dragged my mum along with me lol. At the time I thought it was absolutely amazing but looking back now definitely not so much!

Yes, saw the midnight showing with some friends and had to show up hours early to ensure you didn't get a seat in the front row. Lots of people dressed up. Saw it at the local mall which the theater is pretty much the only thing left in there.

Overall I enjoyed it, even with the Jar Jar nonsense.
