You echo my sentiments exactly from all those years past. Recently I had a chance to see this movie again on television and you know what? It still sucks. Time has not improved the viewing one bit. If anything, it seems even sillier and more dumb than when it came out in 1999.

I'm a huge comic book movies fan...
BOTH BvS and AOU were my 2 most anticipated movies of all time....
and for me, They are my 2 personal most disappointing movies of all time...
but they are disappointing for different reason...
First, BvS was just quite simply one of the very worst films I've ever seen...The feeling I got watching this film in theaters for the first time was something Ill never forget, I was completely stunned at The Shitshow I was watching, and almost without words at just how badly they RUINED every second of this film
AOU, I dislike for a different reason, I dont consider it an awful movie, Just INCREDIBLY disappointing....The Avengers 1 is my favorite CBM of all time and Its The film I had my greatest theatrical experience with....I'll never forget the PURE JOY I had watching this movie in theaters for the first time, Literally watching things I could only dream about happen on screen....
given just how much I loved The Avengers 1, My expectations were the highest they've ever been for AOU.....and for me, I was just gutted, AOU just wasnt close to my expectations or the quality of Avengers 1....Its the most disappointed I've ever been leaving a movie theater......
I'll never be able to watch AOU without being sickly disappointed and I'll never be able to watch BvS without being down right furious WB and snyder somehow made The worst Possible movie with a once in a life time storyline like Batman Vs Superman...
17 years from now, I expect to be just as disgusted in both films
Anyone who thinks that shitty A.I. movie is better than this has terrible taste in film. Hope you like crying and being depressed all the time. It's no wonder you're angry.

sharePM had many cool things going for it. If you edit out Jar Jar, 'lil Annie, and the vacant attempt at politics, then you have about 40 minutes of some cool Star Wars stuff. The saber fight and the Jedi stuff were great. It is the only prequel that I like at all for these small parts.
I feel pretty much the same way about TFA. Lots of very dumb stuff with nice Star-Wars'y things happening around it. Not a good movie but still some promise. I think if TFA and Rogue One could have learned from each other's mistakes, We'd have gotten a decent SW movie.
Never mind TLJ and Solo. So irredeemably bad that I no longer wish to see anymore Star Wars films at all.
