Wolverine was overdone in the sequels

I thought the muscles were overdone in the sequels (clearly on steroids) and he had hair on his body in this one which is more inline with the character. I don't think Wolverine is that shallow to wax his chest on the regular like he's a male stripper or something.

He wasn’t so much bigger in Logan, X2, and other films. But in the 2013 Wolverine, I agree that he was too muscular and lean.

reply

Agreed. He was a beast in the rest of the series.

Agree about the overdone muscles, and I want to add that he was more... animalistic in this one. His body language was very feral in this movie, less so in subsequent films.

Which I can forgive as yes, Wolvie would have spent a lot of time around civilized people as the films went on, and it's believable that his body language would become a bit more normal and his affect more human. But I still like the raw, half-wild Wolverine of the first film.

reply

Yeah. At least we got less of him in First Class and Apocalypse.
