The Fugitive, of course. But then The Fugitive is the best movie based on a TV show ever (even better than Mission: Impossible), so how could U.S. Marshals compete with that?

Obviously The Fugitive is the superior film, but I thought U.S. Marshals was a fine and worthy sequel. Both great thrill-rides to watch

shareThe Fugitive. I especially like the first hour or so. I’m also a fan of Harrison Ford, and put him with Tommy Lee Jones, hey forget about it.
Though I do enjoy US Marshalls, which I actually saw a couple of times on cable long before I saw Fugitive. I like Wesley Snipes and I thought it was cool we learned his character was ex-special ops. And Downey Jr. being a double crosser was cool.

This movie was descent but no where near as great.
The Fugitive is one of the best films of the 90's, and one of the best thrillers ever made, and US Marshals is just average.

21 Years later after the OP 1st Post, The FUGITIVE and I would've respected Hollywood even more at the time if they decided not to make a sequel to The FUGITIVE
