DO NOT WATCH THE DIRECTOR'S CUT

The theatrical cut is 10 times better than the dc.

I happened to see this movie the first time I ever went to a drive-in theater in 1999 and I loved it. I went back the next night and watched it again. I only ever saw the director's cut once and I don't remember much about it other than it had conventional colors rather than the blue tint, and that I thought it sucked compared to the theatrical version. If it had been that version at the drive-in I would have soon forgotten about it and never bothered to watch it again.

The DIRECTOR'S CUT didn't have Kris Kristoferson in it

The true Max Payne movie is Payback Director's Cut, superior to the already awesome Theatrical cut.
