Cryptology 101

I'm fully aware that Hollywood has its own rules of physics, but I didn't realise it had its own maths too. The entire premise of this film is so unignorably flawed to anybody that has even the most tenuous grasp of basic cryptology that everything else just blurs into mediocrity. It's not often I get angry with the telly, and even less so about things I don't really care about, but this made me seethe! On the plus side, it would probably work as a slapstick parody.

Hey, douche nozzle, please elaborate on your post. You started this thread so tell us why you were so "angry with the telly".

Hilarious. Someone from a country that loved Benny Hill,Ricky Gervais and James Corden.....finds reasons to pan this movie, as not being clever enough.

The "I'm so smart".........they blew the cryptography.....line is simply elitism.

As others have suggested, whats the payoff in whining to a board, full of people 99.9999% have no idea whether you know your stuff or not.

Yeah autism, is a real side splitter. Laugh a minute stuff. Plus side? For whom? I think its great that Hollywood is trying to shed some light on mental illness, with movies like this one, and a beautiful mind. I'll bet most people had very little understanding about autism, before seeing the movie. E.g., "Nothing gets through?" Nurse...."No its just the opposite, everything gets through."

I'm afraid those of us, not dealing with the day to day trials of raising an autistic child, have no idea how painful it is. Movies like this, can only help. Ideally by raising our awareness, we can help someone close to us, that is struggling.
