Mary and Pippin More Annoying Than Jar Jar Binks?

Compared to Jar Jar, Merry and Pippin might as well be Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction.

are they abit naive and immature? sure they are shit disturber teens from a land thats basically perfect and has known nothing but peace and being carefree.

but they mature fast and have many redeeming qualities. Jar Jar has none and his entire character was designed to be that way, "funny and silly". but its just annoying, stupid and has no redeeming qualities.
