Its reputation is steadily improving. People didn’t know what to make of it on release but now they’re gushing over it, like the fellas over at Blank Check Podcast: https://pca.st/episode/1d154141-306a-47bd-b4bc-5af4b80770e1

It’s creeping up my Kubrick rankings and it’s seriously vying with The Shining for the No 1 spot, no bullshit.

Same here. I like it better every time I watch it. I've found this to be true with most Kubrick films.
