Am I the only one who absolutely hated P T Flea

He isn't not really created to be likeable, and granted, he is basically a stock comic character in this film to drive the plot forward.

I think you're meant to hate him. I don't think anyone would have laughed as hard at the "Burning Death" scene if he'd been a likeable character, but because he was obviously skeezy and gross seeing him burn was funny. :)

Off Topic, but does anyone else yell "BURNING DEATH!!" when Denethor takes a header whilst on fire in Return of the King?

I think he was more clueless than anything. If they met up with him beforehand and explained the plan he could have been in on it.

I agree with the fact that he was a selfish, money-hungry jerk, but then again, how would *you* react if a monstrous "bird" was flying around "killing" other people around you. While that scene ticked me off as well, it was clear he really didn't know any better. I mean the grasshoppers fell for it too, right?

The fact that he blows everyone's cover

and then later destroys their fake bird to me made him an absolute piece of S h i t.

ut I guessin a Pixar film...nobody ever notices that stuff.
