Antz was better
Check it out sometime.
shareYuck. I hate Antz. It's creepy... XD
*Do not cry because it's over; Smile because it happened.*
I loved A Bug's Life when I was a kid and love it now.
I liked Antz when I was a kid and love it now.
That's 2 points for A Bugs Life, 1.5 for Antz.

Antz is alright but I never could get into it because visually it's not stimulating. Yes I know ants are brown in real life I have no problem with that but the characters themselves were boring as life to look and personality wise. I really can't pick a favorite because the personalities really didn't shine. Bug's Life was much better at actually developing the characters and the plot.

i think i saw antz around the same time as a bugs life. i like antz but i love a bugs life. i didn't like antz that much when i was a kid because it was ugly but when i see it now i know it just isn't as good i can't really explain why
"Oh darling, half the fun of eating meat is hacking it up!"
Bug's Life was much better at actually developing the characters and the plot.
Agreed. Something I think I'm the only one who thinks so.

Antz was far better - better voice cast, more interesting characters, richer palette of colours used to create the world, etc, etc...
Love United. Hate Glazers.
Its too bad Antz flopped while A Bug's life was a success.

Antz is a bit more heavy and sophisticated...A Bug's Life is much cuter and family-friendly. I like both a lot. I prefer Flik to Z though just because Flik was so lovable and heroic. Z's great for his hilarious rambling.
Hey, it's the "mori no otomodachi!!
Exactly how was it better? No offence, but I really hate when users claim something, without giving a explanation for their statement.
While that is being said, I do agree that "Antz" was the better movie. Mainly because it was more mature, more sophisticated and more fun. While the plot wasn't original, I enjoyed the characters, the voice acting, the pacing and the animation.
"A Bugs Life" is a fun and cute movie, too, but it's hampered by some flaws (too many characters, unlikeable protagonists and preachy and formulaic story).
