shareI thought the Tom Cruise reboot was fun. Overhated.
shareI thought Cruise's Mummy flopped because it was bad.
shareI 100% agree with Fraser, Cruise's abysmal Mummy movie was dull, tedious, unscary and plodding, compared to the fun, exciting romp Fraser's Mummy was.
tom cruise mummy flopped cuz of tom cruise, I didnt wanna ruin the nostalgia of the first two by watching that weird scientologist
shareI enjoyed Cruise’s film (though he was miscast) and wish they hadn’t scuttled the Dark Universe franchise because of it.
shareHe'd have to get into shape fast. Let's be frank, the years have not been kind to Brendan Fraser (not trying to be a dick just being honest).
shareIf it does happen I imagine Fraser would be in the mentor support role (like Connery in Indy Last Crusade), his adult kid from 2/3 would be the lead (recast with some moderately famous 30s guy) with some hot female lead, and Rachel Weiz would most likely be back in a cameo
shareGlen Powell it is then.
shareI think he injured his back making one of the Mummy films so it probably affects his ability to get fully in shape.
shareMummy 2017 was just boring. It was a remake of the 1999 Mummy without anything that made it GOOD. It would be interesting to see Fraser return to the franchise to play a more character-driven role.
