Ten plagues were inflicted by the Israeli God AGAINST Egyptians. So how can an Egyptian priest inflict those same plagues

True, it seems ironic than an Egyptian mummy with supernatural powers would do the very things the God of a different religion would do. I would call that lazy writing, to be honest. You don't have to copy the Bible to come up with horrible plagues for people to suffer from.

I don't think Imohep was a mental giant. Lacking creativity as much as intelligence, he simply got the idea from historical knowledge. Monkey see, monkey do.
