Twin Towers

ON the cover of the movie you can see the twin towers on the back of z . does anyone think that they should take that off or something , i mean on the first spiderman trailer , they took it off , but i'm just wondering about this .

I know it's hard to believe, but the Twin Towers existed. What would want? Remove any trace they existed because they unfortunately now resemble a tragic day? Forget they were ever there?

The ultimate measure of a society is it's film industry

Why don't we just go through every movie, television show, newspaper article, magazine article, music video and anything else you can think of and erase all images of the Twin Towers. That way, those responsible for the tragedy will have truly succeeded. And to all those who lost their lives, who cares, right? Let's just wipe out EVERY memory of the Twin Towers.

What, you want to erase the TT from history? Forget it ever happened? In that case America definitely deserves a second 'wake up call'.

reply

Besides the Trade Center bombing will never have much of an impact on history (especially if everyone is trying to erase their memory from our past, like you are hoping to do). It wasn't the holocaust or America bombing many of innocent civilians living in Japan during World War II; it wasn't the assassination of Caesar or the fall of Rome. It was a couple of buildings toppling that will be forgotten if we go in the direction you’re striving for.

It was more than just "a couple of buildings toppling." You are aware of the fact that people died in those buildings. Aren't you?

And what's up with this "the Trade Center bombing will never have much of an impact on history" nonsense?

I've never understood this american obsession with trying to erase the towers from history. I'd never even heard of the WTC before 9/11 or even noticed the twin towers in all the photos and older movie footage of New York until after they came down! I say leave them there and don't worry about it so much.

why does everyone try and forget about the twin towers? the more we forget aboout all to do with it the more likely we will lead ourselves into another attack!

if we rememeber, we can realise the mistakes we made and try to prevent any future attacks.

forget it all you want but it still happened and were just lyeing to ourselves.

Why? It's like saying they never existed. Are you saying we should remove them from EVERY freaking movie that had them?

WOW. Someone is being a little over-sensitive. This film came out in 1998 and (as far as I know) takes place then, too. The Twin Towers DID exist at one point and removing them from film that was made when they were still around is just *beep* insane. You're an idiot, OP. Go *beep* yourself.
