Djinn, he is only limited with wihses, if some wishes to Djinn Pinhead to go out, he will to that with snap of finger.

reply

I think the Djinn represents evil a lot better than pinhead

So I think the Djinn will win

Pinhead wins

Pinhead wins, no question. Hes a demon, you can't kill a demon.

reply

Depends on where the battle is. If it's in hell, then I think the Djinn have a few more powers to play with. If it's on earth in our universe, then Pinhead will make short work only because the Djinn have to have wishes to use their powers. Pinhead and the other Cenobites were killed by the good doctor in HR2 so it looks like the battle in hell would be up for grabs.

reply

The only reason that Pinhead and the other Cenobites lost the fight against the doctor was because they had been reintroduced to their humanity, and they were trying to protect the girls from Leviathan. The doctor was serving as the new proxy of Leviathan and had his/its full backing. It couldn't take anything away from the existing Cenobites, so it upped the ante with the doctor thus making him more powerful, i.e. the tentacle attached to his head directly from Leviathan, and when his purpose was served Leviathan ripped his head apart via that tentacle.

Speaking as someone who understands both characters fairly well I can honestly say that Pinhead would win. I like the Djinn alot more but his powers come from the wishes he makes. I think we all remember in the first Wishmaster when Kane Hodder's character tells the Djinn to go away and the Djinn begins to walk away not because he chooses to but because he has to. All Pinhead would have to do is ask the Djinn to stay still while he brought out the chains. The Djinn can do no harm to anybody unless he's aked to. All you have to do while around him is watch what you say.

reply

But if Pinhead told the Djinn to hold still he would lose. After making a wish the Djinn gets your soul when he wants it. So he would just take Pinheads soul and win. (This may all be wrong. I have never seen a Hellraiser so I don't know, does Pinhead have a soul?)

reply

pinhead has no soul.

I believe that it would all depend on whether this battle were waged in the physical world, or a metaphysical plane of existence. On the first, the Djinn couldn't win because as it was pointed out earlier, he needs souls which he gains from granting the wishes of others. Pinhead has no soul and this would not work with him, but I don't believe the Djinn wouldn't know a fellow demon when he saw one, so I don't think he would try this particular ploy. My guess is that he would use an unwitting human pawn to do his dirty work for him by opening the Lament Configuration Box and sending Pinhead and cohorts back to Hell. The Cenobites methods with the hooks and chains wouldn't incapacitate the Djinn in any way because he is immortal and incapable of dying by physical means. In a way, their powers sort of cancel each other out.

On a metaphysical plane, I think the Djinn could easily eliminate the Cenobites. They're really nothing more than minions of Leviathan and have only a mere fraction of its power, plus, they were human once, and I'm sure the Djinn would exploit those weaknesses in some way. He doesn't have those particular Achilles heels and was immortal long before they were ever born in their mortal forms, and the Djinn has had more time to perfect his craft. He wouldn't have those constraints holding him back that held him in the physical. Remember, how he sicced his "dog" on Alex in the first film? She had to wish her way out of there because she was in the very real danger of being killed in the Djinn's realm. I think he would have pulled it back at the last possible second because her death wouldn't have been beneficial to his cause, at least not at that time.

So it would be a stalemate on Earth, and the Djinn would kick major amounts of booty in the nether regions. At least that is how I see it. :D

Those of you that have stated that the Djinn would be powerless unless it could feed off of a wish....that is true, for humans.

Pinhead is not human. He is, like the Djinn, from another space in time brought into our world by being released from its prison, i.e. puzzle box, jewel, etc.

I would place my money of the Djinn.

The Djinn definitely, I mean pinhead has all of those fancy powers and all that crap but Djinn is more aware of his surroundings. He knows what humans want or desire, and he could take control of pinhead by a simple wish. He could come across a human in one of his human forms and simply ask if they want pinhead gone, locked up, or killed. It would be very simple for the Djinn to win, and on the other hand it would be an easy win for pinhead too. They would probably end up fighting, get tired because they can't kill each other and have some tea and become best friends lol. Yeah, it would probably be a draw!

reply

Pinhead would win. No doubt about that one!

The Djinn will destroy Pinhead. Pinhead is some ugly corpse-like demon, who lost all credibilty he had in recent movies (then again I haven't watched Wismahster 3 & 4).
But the Wishmaster can not die. He is eternal. He'll trick Pinhead to say something stupid (it won't be hard), that it'll be (as you wish) and ugly Pin will lie dead.

I'll be back
