I enjoyed this movie... don't get me wrong, but I often wondered what made Kathy Bates want to do this movie. It just seems like an odd choice for an oscar winning actress like herself to act in.

I'm glad she did it. She was drop dead hilarious in this movie. I haven't watched it in years but I'm laughing right now just remembering in my mind some of her lines and facial expressions;

She was HILARIOUS! Probably her favorite performance, even though it was a silly role. She hit a home run with this. She's got around 10 lines in this that have me crying with tears.

My favorite part of the movie was when the reporter was interviewing Vicky during the final game and Kathy Bates is in the background waving and dancing without anybody noticing her. I laughed for a good minute after seeing that.

shareKathy was the best part of this movie. She tells coach that if she had to guess then the part of the snake she gave him was the ankle.
Also her dancing behind Vicky’s interview for the camera was terrific.
