How in the world did this not get an r rating. This movie hads lots of violence, deep depression, and tons of yelling. Now, I already did the thing on why Toy Story 1 should be pg-13( go check it out on the toy story 1 message board), well this is the one for why Toy Story 2 should be rated r.

Well, this movie wasnt as sadistic or dark as the first one, but it had more violence and yelling in it. They have a lot of actions scenes and toys yelling at each other. They had that major car crash when the toys were crossing the street. They even had a fight between father and son on the elevator( Buzz and the evil dude). They were hitting and insulting each other at the same time!!!!! Woddy graphically had his arm off through the whole movie, and when that dude tried to repair him... it was extremly graphic because Woody had needles go through his arms. Stinky Pete was as nearly as bad as Sid. He yelled all the time and made eveyone depressed. He made my little cousin so depressed that he actually had to go to therapy for 3 months!!!!!! Yeah thats how bad this movie is. I gave Toy Story 1 a pg13 rating for scary moments, thematic elements, plastic toy fighting/violence, distrubing behavior, scenes of brutal torture of toys, innuedos, and hints of extremely sexual dialogue.

Well Toy Story 2 should be rated R for mature thematic material including deep realistic deppresion, intense sequences of action including a rigorating car crash, plastic toy fighting/violence, disturbing behavoir, extremely graphic scenes of torture/fixing a toy, some scary moments, innuedos, nonstop strong pervasive yelling, some hint of extremely sexual dialogue, and a crude content reference

Next up is the real rating for Toy Story 3 when it comes out( its probably goin to be NC-17) Now i will go after some more pixar movies and other movies like Shrek or other aninmated moives. Look around!!!

I know what the OP wrote sounds looney; however, he is right about the scary factor. My 4 year-old Grandson loves the Toy Story movies, but he did have nightmares about Sid. So, I now FF certain parts. In TS2, I start the movie at the point where "Game Over" is shown. Obviously, preschoolers are going to react differently than your average 9 year-old.

It does sound like some of those statements are definitely incorrect.

Guess what, Kariann; when I was little I had nightmares about Cookie Monster. I'd dream he would chase me around my back yard and try to kill me. Sesame Street is a great kids show. (well, at least was, don't really watch it now so I wouldn't know how it's doing currently.) People need to accept that kids are afraid of weird things. It's not the fault of the movie; young children can be hard to figure out, so there's no need to attempt to cater to a few kids that are afraid of 'intense' scenes. Just 'cuz it's a kids' movie doesn't mean it's still okay for EVERY kid.

Just felt I should say that.

My friends girlfriend was pregnant, about 7 months in. She wanted to watch this, and me and her BF sat down to watch it as well. We all love this movie.

As soon as this movie was getting serious, she kept having this odd pain, next you know the baby started kicking like it was some sort of demon. So we had to rush her to the hospital. Her water broke, the baby was born, and was stiff. Apperantly, the child was scared right out of her!!!!!!!

DAMN YOU TS 2!!!!!!!
The kids okay now...but when ever TS is mentioned, the kid had that odd look of which he had when he was born...and is rock solid...hopefully it's just phase.

And on a serious note:
Usually people try to be serious when they posts threads like this.
But um, if you can't tell, this is an excellent joke thread.

More or less the OP is being sarcastic and has a rather odd sense of humor.

I enjoyed the hell out of it. Thanks OP.

He's not serious. He posts messages like this on imdb in order to read the responses and laugh how mad we get. When someone is like OMG YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING, it puts a smile on his face. The best thing to do is agree with him. You're right dude, Toy Story 2 should've been R, but hey the past is the past. Life goes on. The mature graphic scenes in Toy Story 2 should not have passed into production. Ridiculous. Someone should start a petition to ban this movie. Seriously. Haha jk. but seriously.
