So nobody noticed

the ruckus Rose caused as she tried to get the boat's attention? Like, none of the other boats with Cal and her mother hear a whistle in basic stillness since most were dead and those in boats were fairly quiet. Nobody noticed the splash and motion in water where nobody else was moving and wondered if it was their loved one? None would have checked the survivor list for her name and saw "Rose Dawson" and put two-and-two together?

You know that how?

You know that how? Clearly, *someone* heard the ruckus as they turned one of the lifeboats towards Rose to save her.

I'm sure most people still conscious in the lifeboats heard the whistle even if they didn't hear the splashing, but why would anyone think it was anyone specific and not one of the thousand other people who got dunked into the Atlantic?

None would have checked the survivor list for her name and saw "Rose Dawson" and put two-and-two together?

Since Rose Dewitt Bukater was known to have gone into the water (her own mother saw her jump off the lifeboat), it was assumed she was among the missing and presumed dead. Neither Cal nor her mother would have suspected she would use a different name and go off-grid if she did manage to survive the sinking.

She would've froze to death in seconds. Stupid scene.
