When do angels fly out of...

When do angels fly out of Jack Dawson's @r$e?

In the movie we see Jack studying Rose.

In the script Tommy says to Jack: 'Ah, forget it, boyo. You'd as like have angels fly out of your @r$e as get next to the likes of her.'

Obviously Jack and Rose later get together and 'do their thing'

Which in turn begs the question:

When do angels fly out of Jack Dawson's @r$e?

reply

I have enough trouble passing stool.
I can't even imagine angels! πŸ˜–πŸ˜²

reply

Well, and this might just be me, but maybe Tommy was wrong.

reply

Agree. He thought the possibility of Jack getting to Rose was the same as angles flying out of anyone's arse - zero.

A bit of trivia...I used to work with the guy who said that line, Jason Barry.

He was a fairly shy, quiet fella.

He went on to make a few low budget movies, not sure what he's up to now.

Was the accent real?

reply

Well he his Irish, so i'm going with yes.

reply

Real to an extent. He is Irish, but the accent used in the film is somewhat toned down. Which is common for a lot of regional accents in movies, otherwise people from various parts of the wold would simply not understand them.

reply

Well that sounds nice.

OP, two things:

1. It's just a saying.
2. Why are you self-censoring a harmless word like "arse"?

reply

1. OK, point well taken, yes it's just a saying - I just wanted to express a little humour and see if I could start a debate.

2. Again, I just wanted to express a little humour.

None of this is really of any importance - I just wanted to get a reaction for people to enjoy themselves.

By all means continue to post...

THAT GUY DIED...HE OBVIOUSLY DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.
