Maybe because there’s not much to say? Or were the old IMDB posts lost in translation? I’m surprised there aren’t a bunch of “Michele was a bitch to Sandy” posts and other inanities.
This is a VERY low stakes movie but it’s fantastic. I’m every sense of the word, since it’s a genuine fantasy. I wish they’d put some effort into releasing a Blu Ray or 4K with some extra features.
I haven't seen this for years, but waay back I watched it several times with my children. We loved it.

I had this on DVD and only watched it a couple times despite really liking it the first time. There just isn’t a lot is substance to the movie and there’s only one plot thread. The costumes and their friendship is great but a big chunk of the movie is the fake reunion and then straight after there is the real one and the long dance.
In comparison, Clueless feels like every character is fleshed out, it has its own language, and there are several smaller plot points that all come together in the end.
