What would have made this the Greatest movie ever made

If Stryker were the main character. Everyone else should have just died in 3 seconds, and the whole movie is Stryker giving all the villians fatalities. This movie would have made billions.

What would of made this movie better.

- Fix the movie mistakes, don't reuse clips such as Rain's death (Him falling into the Fire pit) and then use it for Baraka's death when he falls off the Cage and into the fire pit that was easy to notice as it didn't look like Baraka at all but more like Rain. When Motaro pulls off Jax's metal arm he shows it to Kahn and Kahn has his cape on raising his arm into the air but in the next scene he has it off.

- Use less bright colors on the costumes and you'll be fine. (Jade, Sindel, Mileena, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero)

- Letting Johnny Cage live.

- Have longer fight scenes like with Mileena and Sonya if that lasted another minute it would of been much better as Milenna would of shown her true potential in the film including showing her face and how ugly it is without her mask. Also even try to have it to where Mileena and Sonya are interrupted by the monster and Mileena evades it and leaves the monster to deal with Sonya which lets Mileena stay alive until the end fight.

- Have the same clothing or similar to what was shown at the end of Mortal Kombat 1, such as Liu's dirty ruined shirt, and Sonya's outfit that Bridgette Wilson wore, it would of fit much better when the beginning of Mortal Kombat Annihilation started.

- Removing Raiden's storyline with him speaking to the Elder God's and his fight scenes with the Reptile like Ninja's you could of fit so much into all that time it took Raiden to find his self in the film including cutting his hair and having that "New Look" which was pretty lame to have in the movie. Also having less of Raiden would of helped the story as you wouldn't of seen him fighting being more of a guide a helper to the mortals.

- Remove Rain from the storyline. He's not much use only for reporting to Kahn and dying so no need to have him in the film if his only appearance in 2 minute long. Leaving Ermac in the storyline might of been good use for the ending fight.

- Have Sub-Zero with his original costume in MK3 this would of fit much better with his face and scar, adding the whole storyline that Smoke was programmed to go after Sub-Zero but then programmed to go after Kitana and Liu Kang was a nice touch.

- Take out Kahn's killing spree then you won't have Jade die by the Wall monster. Jade would still be alive and consider the betrayal of Kahn a reason to go back to the good side as she can make up her screw up to Liu Kang with helping them fight towards the end.

- Have Jade looking more like her actual character in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 with her dark tan skin and her costume being a little less bright green.

The Fights

- Jade Vs. Sheeva during the end battle this would of put good use to Sheeva's character to see her true fighting skills and would of shown how Jade made up for her screwing over Liu Kang.

- Having Jax Vs. Motaro fighting still remains the same but making Motaro bigger in height would of made his character more believable as Motaro was very tall in the video game.

- Johnny Cage Vs. Ermac, even though Ermac is no longer fighting Sonya at least you'll get a good fair fight with Cage and Ermac fighting each other.

- Sonya Vs. Mileena, since Mileena evaded her battle with Sonya they have round 2 with each other but a much tougher fight than the first time they fought.

- Kitana Vs. Sindel this would of played out the same way but I'm sure it still helps with having this fight scene still in here.

- Liu Kang Vs. Shao Kahn, if you exclude the animality, what would of been good was to add Liu Kang's 360 spin fatality which made Kahn fall off a cliff and land on his back killing him instantly, it might sound more like Mortal Kombat 1 but at least you know he did his fatality to Kahn.

Staying true to MK2 instead of smashing 3 with it. If you played Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, that plot and story would have made a good MK Annihilation film.

Wow, I couldn't disagree more. Can you imagine how that Mileena vs Sonya fight would have gone with her as Sonya rather than Hess???? Bridget Wilson is hot, yes. And any Sonya must be hot but with Bridget they didn't get the REST of the equation. Look at Liu and Cage--both of them were HOT like they were supposed to be AND they were physically capable athletes. Bridget Wilson, to her credit, did give her all. I remember her interviews and her talking about that aspect as the most challenging and giving it her best. You can see her effort.

But her Sonya is MILES below that of Hess in ability. They could have had an entirely different story were it not for her lesser physical cape. Her fight with Kano was fixed and HAD TO BE because a Sonya victory with her as the actor would have been impossible without tell-tale stunt doubleage (and part of the fun IS seeing them do their stuff). In MK, they should have either pulled Hess or that woman from Excessive Force II as both are pretty blondes with okay acting ability (Bridget wins over both there) AND they can do stuff.

Sonya in Annihilation actually got to DO the signature Sonya moves (without speeding up the camera to hide the obvious) and the story didn't need a bogus "the game is fixed so she can win" mess thrown in because Hess could do the physicality.

As a Sonya and Kitana fan (but ESPECIALLY as a Sonya one) I was VERY disappointed in MK as so very little of their trademarks really made it in and were celebrated. Liu was serviced NICELY as were the Lin Kuei ninja crew. But Sonya?? Not so much. She was pretty and that was her main contribution.

That's not Sonya. She's like Wonder Woman--she's pretty AND a dominant force. With Hess, we got that. Her action sequences were as good as Liu's in MK I this time around (though we didn't see her flying punch or rising bicycle kick--not sure I'd want the latter but I mained the punch when I played as her).

On Kitana--Kitana = Fans. The End.

No animality and No MK4 stuff. The first film fooked us in that they brought in MK2 stuff and messed up the narrative for MK. This one had the potential to be fantastic but they wasted too much time with Elder Gods, Baraka, tattoo passes, and that awful animality business.

Props for actually having Kitana DO SOMETHING (and with fans, no less), a GREAT screen translation for Mileena, and major props for the new Sonya. I own this for the great early fights before the loss of steam after they go to outworld and proceed to walk around and talk alot.

It could have been the greatest movie ever made if they concentrated on less characters, but explored their backstories.

For example, have it start on Outworld, where Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung's dark priests are starting the rituals to resurrect Sindel.
Switch to the Lin Kuei temple, where the Grand Master is aware of the impending Outworld invasion and preparations for converting their warriors to cyberninjas are being made. Show Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke and Sub-Zero being picked for the cyber-conversion, Smoke and Sub-Zero attempting to escape, fighting Sektor and Cyrax (with plenty of special moves) and Smoke being captured.
Switch to Manhattan (home of Kabal and Stryker), where a truly EPIC scene could've been possible. Imagine Stryker (wearing a SWAT uniform, not the ridiculous T-shirt) pursuing Kabal. All of a sudden, a portal opens in the sky, the ground starts shaking, a large fissure opens in Central Park (directly below the portal) and a HUGE temple, towering over the skyscrapers, rises from the fissure. When the temple has risen, it emits a blinding flash of light, and immediately after, millions of people in the city drop dead, while their souls are sucked into the portal as green glowing spheres of energy, while Stryker and Kabal are the only ones to remain alive.

And that would be just the beginning!

As long as they have Sindel, and that outfit. I don't care. hehe

If they didn't have her wearing tights it would've been so much better.

There is a man...he travels fast...he has purpose...he brings violence and destruction.

Actually I kinda like it that way, it outlines her body.

If they followed the wonderfully complex Storylines that the games set out instead of just pasting in characters. The storyline to mortal kombat from the games is wonderfully detailed and features alot of characters if you dont believe me go to www.trmk.com and go to features and go to Mortal Kombat Complete storyline reference guide.
