Kelso: "It's like Gone With the Wind on mescaline"
The Lady Chablis: (on the witness stand explaining how she looked when Billy Hanson had previously hit her in the eye), "I looked like that dog on 'Little Rascals'!
Just about all of The Lady's lines.

Minerva had a few good lines, "Boy"
hell - everybody had good lines!
I love it when Jim Williams tells John about the overpaint he's purchased and that he doesn't know what the painting hides: "I rather enjoy not knowing."
shareI love the part where Kelso asks Joe what happened and Joe says, "Oh, that Jim Williams went and shot somebody...canape."
shareThank you! Easily my favorite line in the film. One that stayed with me.
I don't know what the truth was here (although I enjoyed the book immensely), and of course feel deeply for those who lost the real-life Danny. However, the movie and Spacey made Jim Williams incredibly charming and complex, nevertheless.
The movie is, for me, somewhat stolid, but tons of fun. And the Savannah accents are mostly superb, too.

I keep thinking I'm a grownup, but I'm not.
Awesome oneliners in a very underrated film.
