I love it when Jim Williams tells John about the overpaint he's purchased and that he doesn't know what the painting hides: "I rather enjoy not knowing."

Thank you! Easily my favorite line in the film. One that stayed with me.

I don't know what the truth was here (although I enjoyed the book immensely), and of course feel deeply for those who lost the real-life Danny. However, the movie and Spacey made Jim Williams incredibly charming and complex, nevertheless.

The movie is, for me, somewhat stolid, but tons of fun. And the Savannah accents are mostly superb, too.
