How did a master filmmaker like Spielberg ever allow this monumental piece of stupidity into his film??

shareI think Spielberg threw this in as basically just "kellys moment to shine" because it literally serves no other purpose whatsoever. And I do agree, it is absolutely stupid and completely unnecessary.

shareMy guess is they did it for the kids, not the adult audience. Jurassic Park and the Lost World were always targetted to the 13-24 year old club. Definitely read the books though, Jurassic Park and the Lost World by Michael Crichton--amazing.

shareIt was a very woke moment. Throwing in the black girl as a daughter just for diversity points and then allowing her to kick the raptor through the wall. They even made a joke of it when the one guy asked, "Do you see any family resemblance here?"
A raptor probably wouldn't even budge even if Jean Claude Van Damme did a roundhouse kick to its face.
