If Erewhon prison is supposed to be "Nowhere" backwards...


... then why in this movie is it not written/spelled as "Erehwon" because "Erewhon" isn't "nowhere" its "nohwere" backwards, was it a mistake or did they mean to make it less obvious or even...

Could that futuristic prison in this movie get that name for something OTHER than simply "Nowhere" backwards?

And also... besides being wrong, is it "normal" and "natural" that guards in that prison were abusive, even if they mistreated guilty criminals albeit...

In this one instance SPOILERS - because they switched faces and bodies, it was Sean Archer who suffered torture in that prison disguised as Castor Troy.

Well... In general its meant to be "Nowhere" and you even hear the guard state it. But I don't know if it was supposed to be written backwards directly or if just for instance they tried to make it more subtle by not having all letters written backwards in perfect anagram match, then again...

It's an anagram, it doesn't mean it has to be written backwards.
