What are currently your 3 personal favorite Woody Allen films and why?

What are currently your 3 (or even 4 or 5 fave picks, if 3 makes it too difficult) personal favorite Woody Allen films made and released so far and please say why (for either the writing, the acting and casting, the direction, or a combo of all of these factors) for each film named.

1, Manhattan - Absolutely beautiful film and a simply a joy to watch from beginning to end. I could watch this film anytime, any day.

2, Crimes and Misdameanors - In my opinion a near perfect film. I don't think there is a single mistep in this film, every scene is memorable to me.

3, Annie Hall - It's just *beep* hilarious! xD

I have seen maybe a dozen of Allen's films, but the ones I'll still watch again and again are:

Zelig
Radio Days
Deconstructing Harry
Broadway Danny Rose

Those are just the ones that make me laugh the most. I admire "Manhattan", too; it's visually beautiful and hey, I'm a native NYer!

Honour thy parents. They were hip to the groove too once you know.

#1 "Annie Hall"...also in my top 10 list of all films from 60 plus years of movie going. I have watched it once a year for the last 15 years. The films final scene is shot on a street corner outside a Manhattan restaurant where Alvy and Annie have just said their goodbyes for what is probably the last time. As Alvy stands on the corner watching Annie walk away, the soundtrack plays Carrie Lombard's soulful rendition of "Seems Like Old times." He then ends the film with that famous psychiatrist/chicken/egg joke and relates it to relationships. Comedic genius!

#2 "Manhattan"...unquestionably the most beautifully filmed and choreographed black and white opening scene of any film in any genre that I have ever seen.

#3 "Everyone Says I Love You"...again the final scene is so poignant and beautifully choreographed that you can never tire of seeing it, at least I can't.

I love Woody Allen films because most all of them have exceled in that combo of factors that the initiator of this thread was asking for and that is writing, acting, casting and direction.
