i heart this movie

I love this movie. I don't know why other people didn't or why it didn't catch on. I love the songs and the theme of discrimination in hollywood.

And for all the people who think that pixar is the only animation worth seeing should see this movie, the alley scene alone shows how much personality animation like this can produce.

I fell instantly in love with this movie the first time I watched it.

I really like this movie as well. I wish that it would've been more succesful so bad. When I tell people about it most of the time
they are like, "Cats Don't What?"

I think that if it would have been as succesful as The Lion King that they would've prolly put it on Broadway or somethin...

reply

I agree, they probably would have put it on Broadway if it was that successful...that would have been really cool in my opinion..."Cats Don't Dance: The Musical" Makes me smile!

This is one of the best animated movies in like, ever. (Okay, in my humble opinion.)

I think it didn't catch on because it didn't get proper advertisment, or because it wasn't big name (i.e. Disney) people thought it was garbage.

I really like Mark Dindal, by the way. I absolutely LOVED Emperor's New Groove, too (favorite Disney movie ever).

This is one of my favourite films...my parents recorded it when i was really little off the TV for me and I'm still in love with it.
The songs are still catchy, and they're just great. Especially love Natalie Cole though..who does Sayer's singing voice!

I used to watch this movie every new years with my friend. It was awesome. And for some reason it's on tv around that time too... it's great. I still try to catch it every year.

I ADORE this movie! In fact, I used to quote it. Especially Darla Dimple's lines. After looking back on it, it still is on my top 10 favorite movies.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It rates number 3 in my top 10 movies, 2 and 1 being Beauty and the Beast and Jim Henson's Labyrinth with David Bowie.

this movie really is underrated and largely overlooked. i REALLY REALLY LOVE this movie. one of my favorite animated flicks of all time. just watched it now on cartoon network, and it brought me back to my childhood days. love the music, the characters, and the animation. not a masterpiece, but it deserved more recognition... while it's sad that a great film like this never got its due, its a bit comforting to know that there are at least some people there who feel the same way i do about this film.

been trying to find a copy of this on DVD since forever... hope they release a special edition dvd....

I love this movie too, I love the songs, animation and characters and it has an engaging story as well. In fact, I consider it one of the better non-Disney animated movies I have seen, it is not a direct favourite of mine mind you, but I cannot deny that this is a wonderful movie.
