I'm in the minority here, but
I actually liked Arnold's version of Mr. Freeze. He was funny, very unique looking, deliciously evil, and eventually Batman resolved things with him without having to kill him at the end. I have a feeling it was Arnold Schwarzenegger's idea to write the character this way, just to put his own unique stamp on it, and he succeeded. Plus, who could disagree that his "what killed the dinosaurs" cheesy quip wasn't at least a little bit funny?
To be honest, I didn't like the comic book version of Mr. Freeze at all. I got to see what he was like in the Animated Series, and he truly lived up to his name. The story involving his wife was far more tragic too. Though it was kinda funny how Batman defeated him in one episode of the cartoon, using chicken soup that was originally meant to treat his cold, hehehe.
