At the end, minor spoilers...

... why do they put Ivy and Mr Freeze in the very same prison cell together, how come laws at the time in Gotham City started to allow mixed inmates?

Also, do you think at the end, Mr Freeze either kills her or beats her or anything after talking about "Making her life a living hell" and also does his wife eventually die?

P.S. And yeah it really is a truly terrible film, as bad as the hype leaves you to believe it is. Director Joel Schumacher's very worst film and the worst Batman movie ever, with horrendous dailogue, incredibly cheap looking and headache inducingly terrible sets, non-sensical plot, poor effects and editing as well as lame action scenes, bad acting and characterization, way too many goofs and errors, annoying camera work and its basically a lame rehash of Batman Forever, which was already in itself a mediocre at best disappointment. 1/10 indeed!

reply

Really? Out of all the absurdity in this movie that’s what you take issue with?

reply

There's just TOO MANY haha to choose from. Come to think of it, with how mind-numbingly terrible the film was, this was one that kinda caught my attention for a brief while. But anyways...

reply

Lol if freeze ushers in a new ice age I don’t think that Ivey’s mutant plants are going to grow but somehow their obviously conflicting goals do not stop them from working together

reply

And even imprisoned together.

Heck, maybe at the end, Gotham City went mad after all the downright non-sense that has been happening. So its no surprise that we even started to see some failures at the end in legal system.

The malaise of stupidity having been spread out almost like Covid19 got in the last 2 years or so but apparently faster and to a bigger degree, oh well.

reply

And the fact that Batman somehow magically recorder Poison Ivy's confession whilst she was in a fight with Batgirl like how?

reply

Also, why did they imprison him in his villain suit?

reply

I assume he shot her with ice

reply

I am almost tempted to mention the Arnie quote from the far superior (well at least to this drudge) "Running Man" (1987) film - "Here is sub zero, now, plain zero".

reply

Oh, and they have allowed him or anyone in lock up to still possess weaponry? Jesus, the plot holes, stupidities, inanities, insanities, continuity and logical errors here never end, right?

reply

Maybe since she wanted to have sex with Mr. Freeze, he made her be careful what she wished for and gave her uncomfortable “ice sex.”

reply

Let's not get this carried away here either. And this isn't a Takashi Miike/Fernando Arrabal/Alejandro Jodorowsky/Abel Ferrara etc amalgamation flick, EVEN IF, with his next effort "8MM" (1999) with Nicolas Cage, director Joel Schumacher really did explore the dark sides of pornography and human capacity for cruelty and vengeance, but in that film, at least on one occasion, the girl in question was a victim (of murder) that HE avenges.

reply

And let's also not give this big budget 90s car wreck more credit than it deserves, haha. )

reply

Haha. I do wonder what Ivy is expecting earlier in the movie when she indicates her sexual interest in Freeze by staring at his crotch since his body is frozen and probably not in a condition to have enjoyable intimacy.

reply

And to think that its a PG rated film, it has implied sexual references like this in it?

reply

There are quite a lot which is surprising, especially when Ivy tells Robin that she is wet.

reply

And all those nipple, crotch and butt shots, however clothed, etc.

reply

I’m surprised there was never a sex scene with Ivy or one where she is naked (with her nakedness being obscured since it’s PG-13).
