Uma Thurman's hair
Did Uma dye her hair red for this movie or did she wear a wig?
shareWig
shareI think she did both, but it's hard to tell. She had more "normal-looking" red hair when "disguised" as Dr. Eisley, but the pinkish Ivy hairstyles were definitely wigs. It's possible she might have worn wigs all throughout the movie, right down to the part where she was the sweaty, uncool Pamela in the jungle lab.
shareYeah, her hair in the scene when her clothes are ripped off looks real. Also as a side note, notice how her breasts jiggle in that scene when she is destroying stuff and you can see her cameltoe. 😜
shareI don't remember any scene like that. You really seem to have a thing for her, don't you?
shareHaha. Yes, she is amazing and there is so much to explore with the sexual/reproductive aspects of her character.
If you rewatch the movie, it’s the part when she is destroying the lab saying “I’m Nature’s arm, her spirit, her will! Hell, I am Mother Nature and the time has come for plants to take back the world so rightfully ours because it’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature.”
I believe that was her "I've totally lost it and become reborn as Poison Ivy" moment.
shareYes. She is in a total “IDGAF” mode in that scene. She probably even went wild sexually with Bane with her rush of emotions. Notice how she strokes the beaker and has a sexual look on her face when she says “coming Bane, darling. We have a plane to catch!”
shareI think she saw him more as a pet she could sic on people. I've seen many evil villainesses talk in that peculiar way to monstrous pets, though usually they are sorceresses, not scientists.
shareMaybe she had to "tame the beast" to get him to do her bidding. Perhaps even filling his venom tank with her pheromone dust so he will always follow her.
