from 1 to 10 what would you rate this move, 1 being the worse, and 10 being the best.
I'd give it a solid 8.5 maybe even a 9.....
solid 10, and no extreme rating for me there. I truly love this movie from every film aspect.

I gave it a 6. Worth a watch. But lets be frank here. People always ALWAYS overrate things or underrate them.
This movie doesn't deserve a 8+ rating. It was a ok story about a teacher being pushed.

it's a solid movie but it's nothing that really stands out from the pack either. i would say it's still one of Sam Jackson's better movies though that he was the lead in.
it seems plenty of people tend to overrate movies though as i ultimately rate movies based on how much i enjoy them and the further they get away from that then the lower the rating. some people hand out super high ratings way to easily around here.
i have seen 1750+ movies and only about 67 total of those landed on a 9/10 or 10/10 from me. even 8's are not easy to get from me as my most common ratings i hand out are a 6/10 (Thumbs Down) or a 7/10 (Thumbs Up). but in a bit more details the bulk of movies i watch are between a flat 6/10 and a 6.5-7/10 (a mild thumbs up).
p.s. i just re-watched the movie and it's still solid as the last time i re-watched it was probably at least 5+ years ago, but probably somewhere between 7-10 years ago i estimate.
