It is one of the best if not best golf movies aside from Caddyshack, definitely a very good movie by a very talented director. I remember seeing it the first time and did not expect much before I went in but I ended up really liking it especially when he goes to the Masters which I was not expecting, I was expecting more of just a small town setting.

Golf being a sport or not depends a lot on the person who plays it in my opinion. If you carry your bag and walk the course, it can be a very decent work-out. If, however you are one of those lazy asses who has a caddy or drives a golf cart then it is no longer a sport.

I am a very decisive person, I think.
