If this were made today…

Theyd be thanking Hummel for nuking the S hole that SF has become.

reply

If this were made today, the Cast would be heavy in the Diversity with most likely a white man being the Terrorist instead of the stereotypical Iranian or Muslim like from TRUE LIES

reply

The bad guy WAS a white guy....

reply

In TRUE LIES?? or The ROCK?? Ok, that was Ed Harris as the bad guy in the ROCK, right?? It's been like forever since I've seen that??

reply

The ROCK. And yes, Ed Harris.

I stand corrected.. I haven't watched that movie in probably over 10 Years.. You don't really hear much from Nic Cage these days except for making low budget movies straight to DVD

reply

It's cool. It's one of my wife's favorite movies. I've seen it many times.

reply

You should look and see what Nic Cage has been up to lately.

He's made some interesting films in the last five years or so, a few of which have gotten critical acclaim. Dream Scenario, Pig and Mandy were all well-reviewed, and I also enjoyed Renfield and Color Out of Space.

Mercenaries get paid!

They were pretty ahead of their time.

Ed Harris, a military terrorist. Let’s be honest if that came out today it would get some flack.

But the crack team of commandos would be a bunch of trannies in dresses fired up because they were miss gendered.

It would be called…The Woke

reply

Ed Harris was the most sympathetic terrorist of all time though. He could even be said to be a hero of sorts. He was just trying to get justice for his Marines and their families, even if his methods fell beyond the limits of what could be condoned.
