Everything before 2007 is so dated..

The time era is apart of the story. Jurassic Park showed what man would do regardless of it's release date. Same for mission impossible, human nature is timeless.

Is it necessary for a movie to stand up to time? I just watched it again and still enjoyed it. Clothes, hairstyles, gadgets, etc. should not detract from the movie.

All those old 90's gadgets is what makes this movie awesome to watch again. In what way those stuff distracts you. Then you wont be able to watch any film released before 2000

Your enjoyment of a movie is dependent on whether it has this week's technology? That shit doesn't matter. What's important is character development and story. Some of the best movies are from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. But Oh No! There's a rotary phone, a CRT TV, a RADIO for God's sake! Oh, the humanity!
