A Tim Burton FLOP!

I had a sweet spot for this film due to its obvious 50s/early 60s alien invasion influences...its a shame it didn't even make half its budget domestically....

and yet a P.O.S. like Alice In Wonderland rakes in TONS of cash!

Life ain't fair.

The reason this didn't do as well as it could of was for one big reason. A lot of the movie goers where kids of the 1960's, and thought that the movie was going to be closer to the original card set from 1962.

The movie is good in its own merit, but pales in comparsion to the card set....
