The Countess

Mariangela Giordano as The Countess was the best thing about this movie, and really the only reason I'd bother to sit through it again. She was 59 when she did this, and it's nice to see a woman that age on screen doing a sex scene and showing her self off. She looked very sexy, I thought. Wish there had been a little more of her.

Loved her grand entrance coming down the stairs in that sexy black gown. The main weakness of the movie is that this isn't till maybe 45-50 minutes in. Jess should have found a way to show her earlier. I know she is shown old/decrepit, but there could have been some other scenes of her normal beautiful self, even if they were some kind of flashback.

I need to track this one down to watch. I’ve only seen Mariangela Giordano in Burial Ground, and she definitely was a good looking woman

So, how many Franco films have you seen so far?

I see the blu-ray is out of print and pricey, which is a shame. It was easily available for about $20 at retailers (Amazon, DeepDiscount, etc) not too long ago. I bought it in May. And it has the original Spanish audio. The English dub is reportedly horrible, and I think that's what DVD issues have.

Yes, I remember her from Burial Ground. I think while watching that it was during one of the commentary tracks that they talked about her in Killer Barbys and that prompted me to finally go pick it up, as it's one I hadn't grabbed before. She's also in Giallo In Venice (not a Franco film) that I've got but haven't yet watched. I plan to get that seen soon.

How many Franco films? I have no idea. But still many, many to go.
