remember when this movie first came out in vhs

& it came with two decoder markers? one was clear, and the other one was red, and if you scribble over where you used to clear "invisable" marker, it would show up another color? those were so cool.

haha i remember that. =) i remember trying to copy Harriet. Pretending to write what I saw in a notebook. Of course I was little so I couldn't write much. But it was fun! =)

I remember this! I got the VHS for Easter and I played with those markers for hours.

This movie is pure nostalgia. I love it.
It defines my childhood, in a way.

My VHS doesn't have markers, but you can reverse the inner outwork of the case to make it resemble Harriet's notebook.

Just watched this movie for the first time in 12 years & just noticed my copy has a sticker that advertises the free decoder pens via mail-in rebate with proofs of purchase :( Also my copy doesn't have the reversible sleeve someone above mentioned. I was gypped.

Yep, I used to have them. Not sure if they were any use to me, though. lol

I used mine so much as a kid.

You remind me of Tyler Perry right now. You're joking but you're not funny.

Nostalgia at its finest.

A bit of the old ultraviolence...

I used to watch this movie so much on VHS. Somebody gave me the video and I still have it. I haven't sat down and watched the movie in a long time. I have a video and DVD player rolled into one... One side plays DVDs and the other plays videos. I love 'Harriet the Spy' even now and I'll be 25 in December.
