Hi guys, im doing a study on vampire movies, and twilight is the main focus. I was hoping you would comment on the twilight movies, whether you like them or hate them?

I hate the Twilight films and books.
They suck.
FDTD mean From Dusk til Dawn and *beep* Dirty Twilight Dicks.
You know, it's proven that second-hand smoke is, uh, carcin-... uh, you know, cancer related.
Twilight.... it's a ridiculous excuse to make vampires 'pretty' again. Anne Rice already achieved that and we really don't need some new take on it.
But that's not REALLY the issue when it comes to Twilight. The bad part is the message this crap is sending to young girls.
Apparently, being stalked by a creepy, pale '17 year old' who's manipulative, brooding, and emotionally distant is 'romantic'. This bull is teaching young girls that their life revolves around finding some guy to take care of you for eternity... and that sex is only possible after you marry(which therefore encourages kids to 'marry' right out of high school just so they can get it on with their boyfriends... needless to say, this leads to more than several regrets).
Basically, the Twilight verse promotes mindlessness. And all with 'vampires' that sparkle. Plus, Stephanie Meyer writes like a 5 year old.

Twilight is BEYOND stupid. It really should be removed from the vampire movie list. It's an embarrassment.
Okay, I hate Twilight as much as any sane person, but i've read about these twilight vampires and "sparkles" and I don't really understand what that means... It sure does seem stupid though. "If it shines and sparkles..."
People do stuff, it's a fact.
My sister takes her teenage granddaughters to see the Twilight movies, enough said.
shareI actually prefer the well-mannered, sophisticated vampires (Dracula, Lestat, Frost). And I don't see FDTD as a 'classical' vampire movie at all, because the vampires in FDTD don't remind me of vampires.
It is classical in the sense that it was a landmark in the area of vampire movies, but it sure did not contain classical vampires. FDTD doesn't either, but they're closer, especially the Volturi clan.

I don't see how you could call Twilight a Vamp movie. Does anyone know the rules of vampire movies?
1. Vampires turn to dust when they enter Sunlight.
2. Vampires can't enter someones home without being invited.
3. vampires are not the good guys. The ONLY time this is an exception would be Underworld.
4. vampires drink human blood. They will DIE without it.
5. Vampires are gothic. Wear dark clothing, not blue shirts/blue jeans.
6. Claws! if you watch a true Vampire movies, the vamps will have retractable claws.
Your a complete *beep* idiot if you think Twilight is a Vampire movie. It's no more a vampire movie, then Toy Story is a Horror flick!!
