This true-crime story is way above the average for this kind of thing
Jeff Fahey is brilliant as the congenital liar who lives life on the edge as a political lobbyist and the husband of two wives (Kim Catrall and DeLane Matthews) who don't know of each other's existence. The clever script, which William H. Macy worked on, starts as a light comedy (like Captain's Paradise with Alec Guinness) but ends jet-black. Incredibly, this is based on Karen Kingsbury's true-crime book, "Deadly Pretender: The Double of David Miller." Way, way above the standard for this kind of thing, but it got no Emmy nominations and has a low IMDb rating.
