The ratings system on here is such a joke. I've seen movies that were complete garbage that received 6.5-8 ratings. This movie is obviously not an Oscar winner, but it was very entertaining. The cast and crew should be commended for this diamond in the rough...especially Ferne Cassel.

Agreed, my husband was a navy man and he loves it. We've watched it multiple times and never get tired of it. Kelsey Grammer, Harry Dean Stanton, Bruce Dern--all great stuff. Diesel boats forever!
shareI agree with the displeasure with the rating, but at least it is now up to 5.9/10. I gave it an 8 and would give it an 8.5 if I could, but I can't quite give it a 9 at the moment. Maybe someday...
