has anyone read the book Thor that this movie was based off of? I am interested in reading it.

Is there any blood and gore in the book?

Only as much as the movie, though minus the type you see in opening scene. Which by the way is not part of the book. It was only briefly mentioned that they were camped out in a jungle in Nepal the night of the attack. And in the book Ted does not hide the fact that Marjorie is dead. He was kicked out of the country because they thought he did it somehow, and US embassy bailed him out. Haha little more than you asked, but there you go.
