Who would you cast as Jeffrey Goines instead of Brad Pitt?

This is quite difficult to imagine ha?Maybe Johnny Depp? or Tom Cruise?...or Will Smith with Morgan Freeman as his father?Pitt's performance is out of this World one of his best if not the best he deserved the Oscar that year

Surprised no one mentioned Steve Buscemi. He would have played it to perfection without being over-the-top.

No one. One of the reasons it works is because of the EXTREME behavior of Jeffrey which leads the characters and the audience astray about the Army of the 12 M. Perfect job. And humorous throughout.
