I was 5 years old when it first came out and soo proud that I'm part of old generation with GREAT movies, Toy Story was the GREATEST. Sadly today wasn't the same... (I'm not implying that Toy Story 3 wasn't great bec I knew it would be! [I haven't watch it yet and WANTING TO!!] I just talked about other various modern movies lol)

I was 28 when this movie came out. My wife and I took our first child (2 years old at the time) to see his first movie in the theaters. We were so worried that he wouldn't sit still or start to scream or cry. Instead, he was mesmerized and barely moved - except for laughing a few times.

Like many of you here, that young kid grew into a 17 year old 'young man'. Tonight, I'm taking my 3rd child (who turned 6 yesterday) to see Toy Story 3-D. Good to get another to see a great franchise.

When Toy Story was released, I was 11, and I thought myself too old for a movie about toys, so I didn't see it in theaters. I ended up seeing it on VHS the next year and loving it and realizing what a tool I'd been.

Well, I'm officially the oldest person in this thread (sigh). I was 16 when the movie came out and saw it in the theater on a double date with my first real girlfriend. Haven't seen it in years and I forgot what a good movie it is, now that it's my 2 year old son's favorite movie.
