I don`t know what is good in this and the other 2 movies. It is not funny and it is really boring. What you think?

I really enjoyed Toy Story, it had a good storyline and you connected to the characters and cared about what happened to them. Well maybe not you, but others who viewed the movie.
The toys had an adventure, they bonded after they previously hated each other. The 2 main characters (Woody, Buzz) grew, they weren't just toys in the same play room. They became friends and Buzz learned to not be a pompous ass LOL Woody learned that it's okay to have more than 1 favorite toy.
i totally agreee with you. and don't get me wrong. i love animation and i
feel it does not get the respect it deserves . but this film, and its sequels. i don't get it. yeah i guess its a technical achievement but that's it. the story is nothing special. If you look at what else came out around that time, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Nightmare Before Christmas, Lion King. All a milllion times better then this film. Those movies dealt with real drama, death, betrayal, depression, inner beauty,. with Toy story the big drama was that Woody wasn't Andy favorite toy anymore. my god the drama. i saw Toy Story when i was a kid, i didn't think it was anything special then and i don't now.

Toy Story deals with the complications of sibling rivalry. If you were ever an older sibling, maybe you would be able to make that connection.

Yes I have to agree - I don't get it. Other than being a tech achievement for its time, it just isn't that great of a story. I mean, I understand little kids thinking its really cool, but adults? Come on.
