Alright that's not that bad. Some of you guys are being a tad anal. There are movies that are RIDICULOUS with this crap. It's bad enough you can't watch a TV show on regular cable without a bombardment of commercials. Films are not even really films anymore if they're big budget... They're commercials.

Demolition Man.

All restaurants are Taco Bell. I hear it was redone for overseas - no Taco Bells.

Pepsi cans in Twister.

In Mexico senor, these are the years of sadness.

reply

That is true, here in Sweden they were Pizza Huts instead of Taco Bells.

reply

In the UK, Demolition Man still used Taco Bell - but there are no Taco Bells here (Well I've never seen one).

As for product placement, you can't forget the 2 hour ipod commercial that was Blade Trinity.

I'm allowed to be a hypocrite. But no-one else is.

reply

Instead of Pizza Huts they should've been record stores selling the latest Flower Kings album. Sweden rules.

manhunter - lets have scads of dialogue in a supermarket, so racks of "placed products" can be prominently displayed.

Andy Garcia's holding up of that can of Coke was nothing compared to Owen Wilson's character getting a can of Coke in "Behind Enemy Lines":

In "Behind Enemy Lines" Lt. Chris Burnett (Owen Wilson), after getting shot down behind enemy lines, is getting a lift from some foreign guys and is dying of thirst. He asks them for water, but is instead given a Coke... He holds the can up to the camera and beams, "It's good". [Roll eyes, go buy a Coke...] LOL
